Plastic is a big topic - everywhere. We have just to much of it around the world - in the ocean, in the ground. So it's good to do something against it. The Red Sea Plastic ban in Egypt is an important step in the right direction. In Germany we have more and more stores, which are ban the plastic on their own. Just paper, glass or nothing is wrapped around the products in the new non-plastic stores.

Shopping! I really love that store. It is small, but it has everything you need for your house. When I came first to Egypt and had my own house, I loved to buy there played, pots and bowls. For the Dahabiens: the store is in Assala, right at the square.

Of course they go out for shopping! Most of the women all over the world love to go shopping! So do the Bedouin women. But of course: it is very hidden from every look from outside. In this store are just women.
Nuts are not really cheap, but I guess cheaper than in Germany. Today I bought 1 Kilogram amount for £260 which is currently €12.60. And they're really tasty. In those kind of stores you get all spices to want and Nuts, tea and some candy's. What I really liked in the store is that it is so basic....
The average income in Egypt is around €200 per month. From this money they have to buy food, hygiene articles, gasoline and whatever their needs for in average 5 till more family members. Paying rent for the flat or the house where they are staying is not usual. Most of the people here have their own...
I am not a Newspaper reader, but I was alsways wondering: Where are the Newspapers? Does Egypt has no newspapers? But they have! And Mohoud has not just arabic newspapers - he also provides France, German, Amarican, Englisch, ... newspapers. basicly from all over the world.
