Taste the difference between Egyptians and Germans

I know, the Egyptians love it sweet. But the Masharbik was to sweet. It is dough with honey. But the Honey seems to be something special...it has a very light flavour of roses. Although the guy told me, that can't be. Anyway, the Basboussa is delicious (and unfortunately also the Baklava from his truck). For my body shape very bad ;) For the Dahabiens: the guy is waiting for you in Assala every Tuesday and Wednesday in the late afternoon. His sweets are delicious and cheap I just paid 15 LE for quite a lot Basbousa.

Mulokher is a typical soup in Egypt. The laves are very common in the Arabic world and riminding me at spinach. The soup itself seems a bit slimy, but it is tasty. It's not spicy at all and has a light taste like a wild herbs soup.

Yes! And at a very funny place as well. Sayed has a small Pizza Store with just one table in the front. Most people are going there for take away. But the best thing is, how his shop looks like. This ceramic looks somehow typical Egyptian ;)
