It doesn't matter which day of the week is: when we have New Years Eve in Germany all shops are closed at latest 2 pm o'clock. If you're like you will find a open gas station. But yeah New Years Eve in Germany means i have to be organized.
Because also at the first day of the New year you won't find a open shop. No open shop, now open supermarke, no open hairdresser, no open anything. The nice thing about that is that almost everybody can celebrate this public holiday.

Nuts are not really cheap, but I guess cheaper than in Germany. Today I bought 1 Kilogram amount for £260 which is currently €12.60. And they're really tasty.
