The Oud is an short-neck lute-type with 11 or 13 strings. The instrument comes from the front Orient (probably Persia) and is a precursor of our European lutes.

I couldn't find out, what exactly the Egyptian Style means, maybe just the prints on the Oud.

But what I found out is, that there is also a famous parfum called Oud... ;) But anyway, I loved this jam in the middle of the day ;)

I take you to first real impression to Dahab. Unfortunately you can't smell it. I smell this Dahab smell: the Red Sea, restaurants, dust, cars and also rubbish. That's the smell at lighthouse - and I love it.
