In the night I arrived in Sharm el sheikh (SSH). At least from Germany are (almost) no direct flights to Sharm el-Sheikh, which is really annoying. Actually you could reach this destination in around 5 hours, but with this overstay in Istanbul you need around 10 and more hours. But ok. At least I am here now :)

Germans are sign lover

Germans are sign lover

In Germany we have a lot of sings. For almost everything. I think Germans need signs to feel comfortable. Or confident. Then they know what to do and how to behave. But some signs...how shall I say...some signs are just stupid.

Sunset in Germany

Sunset in Germany

Now it's already 9:40 pm and here in Germany is it's still bright. In the summer you can't sleep so early, because you always have the feeling it's still day. Once I was working in a supermarket and I had to stand up early, but I couldn't sleep early. But at the weekends it's great, because you...

Did you ever see a German jungle?

The definition of a jungle is, that it is a impenetrable forest in the tropics. And of course... a German jungle is neither impenetrable nor is it in the tropics. But I feel like in the jungle. Because there are so many plants, flowers, animals, greenery ....it's incredible if you are just used to the scantiness...

Day 4 in Ethiopia - First visit at the Nile

We wanted to see the Nile - and we did. But it is for us strange, because there where a lot of men next to us, washing themselves. Actually I saw this so many times in Ethiopia. Also this is probably, because the people don't have a bath at home. But yeah - anyway: I felt connected at that time with Egypt. And...
